  11. Require 2 tsp corainder powder (you can use chopped fresh corainder leaves instead).
  12. Need 2 of chopped green chillies.
  13. Need 1/2 tsp Fenugreek powder.
  14. Need 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  15. Give 1 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  16. Require 2 cup of Paneer (you can also use mushrooms).
  17. Need 4 tsp of Refined oil.
  18. Need 1 cup of water.
  19. Give 1 Salt to taste.
  20. You need - Raita.
  21. Need 1 cup for Diced cucumber,tomatoes & onions.
  22. Give 1/3 cup for chopped corainder leaves & green chillies.
  23. You need 2 cup - sour curd.
  24. You need 1/3 cup water.
  25. Need 1 of Salt to taste.

Here are the key components of biryani: Rice: of course rice is the base and key ingredient of this dish. Long grain basmati rice is what is traditionally used. I highly recommend using extra-long grain aged basmati rice for biryani.   1. Transfer the diced vegetables to a mixing bowl.Add sour curd, tomato puree, fenugreek powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, green chillies,turmeic and salt. Mix well and marinate for 1 hour..
  2. Grind the cashews into a fine paste..
  3. Heat oil in a wok.Add the garam masala and fry for 1 min..
  4. Add the cashew paste. Fry for 4-5 mins and then add the marinated vegetables.Cook the vegetables till they are done. Remove from fire..
  5. Wash the rice and transfer to a pressure cooker. Add the cooked vegetables,1 cup water,milk,paneer ghee and salt and mix well.Cover the lid and allow to cook for 13-15 mins or 2 whistles.Remove from stove..
  6. Allow to stand till the steam is let off. Remove the cover and let it stand for another 5 mins. Serve with raita..
  7. For Raita : Mix all the ingredients given for making raita in a bowl and it's prepared..
