This recipe was shared to me by a Muslim friend who makes the most awesome Biryani that I have tasted. The recipe of Hyderabadi Biryani has a few stages to making it. I make it in many different ways and the one mentioned below is one of the methods to make it super delicious. - Frstly cut the vegetables like dis and.
- Panner: salt,chilli powder, Turmeric powder mix it and fry kaju: fried onions: fried onions.
- Soak basmati rice for 30 mins and Cook it until half done by using Cinnamon,bay leaves, pepper corns,star anise, cardomon,cloves,salt,oil to it drain the excess water and keep a side.
- Take a pan and add 3 table spoon oil,green chilli, choppedonions,allam veluli paste, carrot, capcicum,peas and fry it.
- Now add curd and salt,red chilli powder,daniya powder, pepper powder, jeera powder, garam masala, shahi Biryani masala mix it and add potato panner and kaju.
- Add coriander leaves,mint leaves,pudina leaves and mix it.
- After 1 min add 1cup of water and cover and keep it on low flame for 10 mins after gravy will be ready.
- In thick bottom pan first put one layer of gravy one layer of rice and fried onion mint and 1/2 table spoon saffron water and repeat dis till rice and gravy are over.
- Ready to serve.serve hot..
I have used potato, cauliflower, beans and carrots. You can use green peas, mushrooms or even paneer would be a good addition.
