Composition of Dum aloo biryani:
- Provide For biryani.
- Require 200 gm - biryani rice.
- Need 2 - green cardamom.
- You need 2 - black cardamom.
- You need 1 bay leave.
- Require 1 tbsp for ghee.

- Need - For marination.
- Provide 2 tbsp for hung curd.
- Provide 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder.
- Need 1/4 tps for haldi.

- Give 1 tsp - kashmiri chilli.
- Give to taste for Salt.
- Need 1 tsp for Pudina,.
- Require 1 tsp - Fresh Coriander.
- Need - For dum aloo.
- Give 5 of big potatoes cut into two pieces.
- Give 2 - big sliced onion.
- You need 2 - green chilli.
- You need 1/2 tbsp for cumin seeds.
- Prepare as required - Some whole garam masala.
- You need 1 tbsp - Ginger garlic paste.
- Need As per requirement Biryani essence.
- You need as required of Water.
- Need 2 - tomato finely chopped.
- Give 3 - medium onion for fried.
- Require 2 tbsp for ghee.
- Give 2 tbsp - mustard oil.
Dum aloo biryani steps:
- Take a pan add water,black and green cardamom,bay leaves,and salt, stir it now add biryani rice in it put some ghee cooked it 1/3, then take a strainer and strain the rice keep it aside.
- Take a pan add little more oil for potato frying,keep it aside and we can fried our onion in this oil.
- Take another bowl add hung curd and marination item like red chilli, Coriander,salt, haldi little pudina,some fried onions,put our fried potatoes in it and mix it well and keep aside for 15 min.
- Take a another pan heat it and pour mustard oil along with ghee, add cumin and tadka like green chilli, whole garam masala and saute it for some tym now add sliced onion and saute it for 5 min now add our marinated potato into it and saute well for 5,7 minth in medium flame, now add tomato and rest of dry spices add some water salt and cook for 2,3 min.
- Now it's time to layer,in this dam aloo mixture now we,ll add our semi cooked rice in it, sprinkle some fried onions,bunch of pudina and fresh Coriander put some ghee and little water as required, now covered it properly on vry slow flame for 10 min and add biryani essence on the top.
- Now off the flame, and ready to plate we,ll garnish with some fried onions and mint leaves, and serve with cucumber raita.
